The German magazine 1200°Grad has published an article on Primus Ceramics, written after a visit to the company’s production facilities.
The piece follows the ongoing investment in industrial modernisation: new high-efficiency kilns, automated pressing lines, advanced digital glazing technologies and a rethought factory logistics, designed to increase precision while reducing energy consumption.
It also looks at the demanding environment in which the European ceramic industry operates, between market instability, rising energy costs, increasingly ambitious environmental targets and competition from imported products manufactured under less demanding regulations.
A significant part of the article is devoted to the renewed interest in small formats, with particular attention to the Technical, Evoke, Memo and Lisboa collections, and to the way Portuguese tile heritage continues to be reinterpreted in contemporary projects, in Portugal and abroad.
“Rather than focusing on a large number of events, we prioritise being close to our customers, understanding their needs and developing solutions together,” says Helena Afonso, Commercial Director at Primus Ceramics, quoted in the magazine.
